Sometimes you just have those clients who are really more like family. Well, that's the case for Tammy and her kids! We first met through her sister, my work besty, and have gotten to know each other at her nephew and niece's birthday parties over the years! So, it was truly my delight when she entrusted me with the huge job of being their family photographer starting this past Christmas.
I knew that this Senior Session was going to be special to me when Emma decided she wanted to incorporate her musical talent as a violin player! As a fellow musician, I loved all of the unique musical features we had the opportunity to feature! It simply got more and more exciting through planning when I realized that Tammy is my Pinterest-Soul-Mate! Haha Everytime we would share pinterest-ing finds, we realized we were both on the exact same page!! The excitement just really built with each planning email we sent!! And, I think I can speak for us both when I say, that the end results are everything we hoped for!
Emma was FABULOUS! She went into every pose with ease and didn't question any of our crazy ideas! She had even done her homework and seemed to be a step ahead of me on some poses! I loved it!!! Emma is a Senior at Hardaway High School and is hoping to potentially go to Auburn, or Georgia.... or anywhere but Alabama, says her mom. (Roll Tide!) She is a true musician at heart - seen by the fact that she always had to be in the correct position when holding her instrument and always placed her fingers ready to play a chord!!! (Sorry for the music jargon...it just made my musical heart so happy!) She loves reading and wanted to be sure her love of learning was show-cased. However, of all the things I LOVED about this session... I loved that both Emma and her mom wanted to be sure their faith was shown. When I say this session is my soul-session, I mean it with everything in me! Not only was it fun to plan, pose and edit...but it has really brought about some of my favorite images to date!!
I hope you love a peek into some of these gorgeous portraits!! Emma, you are truly strong and beautiful and I know God has huge plans for you!!! Enjoy your Senior year, girl!!
I hope you can see how fun this session was and how special Miss Emma is!!! If you'd like to schedule your own Senior Session, you can reach us here.
